AKO participates in the first edition of FOOD 4 FUTURE EXPO FOODTECH 2021

28 June 2021. The first edition of the FOOD 4 FUTURE EXPO FOODTECH 2021 was held in June. This event will mark a turning point in the food industry.

The BILBAO EXHIBITION CENTRE (BEC) has brought together more than 5,000 professionals from 22 different countries in an event that has gathered all players in the cold chain of the food sector and in which AKO sought to contribute our knowledge and experience in the monitoring of non-connected assets to ensure the cold chain, sharing innovative trends in the technological field.

The health alert experienced over the past two years has dramatically raised awareness of food and beverage safety in the supply chain.

The FOOD 4 FUTURE – EXPO FOODTECH has committed to technological innovation to achieve a more sustainable and healthier food system. In this forum, our Corporate Commercial Director, Jordi Seró, demonstrated how the tracking and traceability solutions we offer are key to the success of any business that needs to guarantee the freshness of food and perishable products, pharmaceuticals and health care. His talk was broadcast to more than 4,000 people from 29 countries spread over 5 continents via streaming, through the FOOD 4 FUTURE WORLD SUMMIT digital platform, thus maximising its international diffusion.

Increasing product care by monitoring facilities from anywhere and at any time, means having a continuous record of data always available, in case of inadequate storage conditions.
